The Role

To work as a member of the Corporate Fundraising team to raise funds from Barretstown's existing partnerships as well as developing new opportunities within the corporate sector and foundations.

 Main Responsibilities:

  •  To support the business development efforts of the Corporate Team by identifying and researching new business opportunities within the corporate sector.
  • To identify new business opportunities from company grants and foundations and help to submit applications on behalf of Barretstown.
  • To manage and steward any existing assigned partnerships and identify opportunities to re-engage with past supporters through online and offline communication channels.
  • To co-ordinate Helping Hands Days, Team Building days and site hire at Barretstown with new and existing corporate supporters.
  • To support the Corporate Team Administration requirements.
  • To support Barretstown's corporate on-site and off-site events.
  • To meet individual activity and income targets and work with the rest of the fundraising team to meet team targets.
  • To maintain up to date and accurate records of client contact and donations in order to maximise income from our database and ensure appropriate communication with corporate supporters.
  • To abide by and comply with all policies and procedures as laid down by the Company, especially relating to individual areas of responsibility.
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Corporate Fundraising Manager and/or Director of Development.

 

Requirements / Experience:

Essential

  • 3rd Level Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a fundraising or commercial environment
  • Strong people skills
  • Results oriented attitude
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • MS Office Proficiency
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • A passion for the mission of Barretstown and a desire to Press Play on childhood for seriously ill children

 

Desired

  •  Pipeline management/lead generation experience
  • Sales, Marketing or Fundraising qualification.
  • Experience of Corporate Fundraising.
  • Experience of Fundraising events.

 

Salary Range: €28 - 32K
