This was an extremely competitive category this year with 18 submissions for some brilliantly crafted and compelling campaigns. It seems appropriate that the winner of this award operates in a particularly competitive part of the sector.
When you place specific importance on a particular campaign every year it is important that you not only match previous successes but do everything you can to exceed them. This campaign did just that. With clear objectives for income, awareness, donor growth, reach and return on investment this campaign identified everything it wanted to achieve via every single available channel and a 360 degree communications campaign was created. Every objective was met, with many being surpassed by a considerable margin.
The judges were impressed by how nothing was left to chance. For a completely focussed, integrated campaign which enabled the team to achieve everything it set out to achieve and more, the winner of this year's Comms Campaign of the Year for the Until Love Conquers Fear campaign is Trocaire.
