During the last 10 years as CEO the winner’s charity has achieved a remarkable transformation internally and externally. The organisation’s reputation, reach, and scope has grown considerably under their leadership, despite the collapse of the Celtic tiger and the long period of retrenchment that followed. Perhaps more importantly they have led a team that has ensured that the quality and quantity of services has grown, year by year, for the children and families that need them. The organisation’s mission is to rebuild the lives of their beneficiaries, and they market that mission behind a deceptively simple slogan. The winner really has excelled in all the aspects of leadership that help to sustain the mission.
