With a modest budget and a strong vision, the winning charity made a big impact. Their well thought out strategy, broadened outreach to include more educators and schools, helped distribute more information, and provided more trainings – all of which positively affected their beneficiaries. They engaged stakeholders throughout the country, partnered with an American university to publish Ireland’s first report highlighting some of the issues for their beneficiaries and ran a widespread and effective awareness campaign to tackle them.
