The Role

The External Communications Coordinator will contribute to the development and delivery of a comprehensive all-island communications and campaigns strategy, designed to grow awareness, support for and engagement with the organisation’s work, through a focus on media, PR and external engagement.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including copywriting, editing and publishing

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing media/PR campaigns that successfully increased awareness, understanding and engagement among key audiences and across multiple channels

  • Strong sense of storytelling and ability to think creatively to secure coverage, including leveraging new technologies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – strong ability to network, build relationships internally and externally and work collaboratively
