The RDS is recruiting for an experienced Foundation & Membership Administrative Executive to provide administrative and event support to the Foundation Director and to the Programme Managers and to contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.
Reporting directly to the Foundation Director, the specific responsibilities of this role include:
Planning and managing various celebratory and fundraising events
Providing operational support for meetings including Committee meetings, co-ordinating documents and meeting packs, room bookings and set-up, minute-taking and any post meeting administration, compiling reports (including funding reports) for various Boards and Committees, liaising with relevant staff members
Co-ordination of Members’ newsletter (3 times a year), co-ordination and sending of monthly email communications, proofing of speeches and running orders for events.
The successful candidate must be a people orientated person, highly conscientious, organised and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ administrative experience supporting a team and will hold a third level qualification in business/office administration or event management.
