Service Manager, Limerick - Cheshire Ireland

  • Cheshire Ireland is a nationwide charity that provides individualised supports to people with physical and neurological conditions. Services are offered to clients in their homes, residential centres, supported accommodation and in stand alone respite facilities. The organisation promotes the wellbeing, independence and quality of life of its clients. Cheshire Ireland supports 281 people in 21 centres in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Wicklow, Limerick, Donegal, Kerry, Carlow, Waterford, Sligo and Mayo.

    Cheshire Ireland strives to ensure that all who avail of their services live a good life and have valued roles in the lives of their families and communities. In 2017, the Limerick Cheshire Service provided supports to 22 clients in residential and community settings. Limerick Cheshire also provides respite services in its Rathfredagh base for a number individuals in the local community. Committed to providing safe, quality-assured and efficient services, Limerick Cheshire are seeking to appoint a new Service Manager.

     

    Service Manager - Limerick

    The incoming manager will be dedicated to ensuring the Limerick Cheshire Service continually achieves the highest standards of excellence. The current range of services offered by Cheshire Ireland include residential respite services, emergency or crisis accommodation and an increasing number of community-based supports.

    Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Service Manager will assume the Person in Charge role and be responsible for ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures, leading the implementation of new services, providing support and direction to members of staff, and resolving operational issues as they arise. The post-holder will regularly review the services provided and develop strategies to ensure the residential service and community based-supports maintain their high level of quality.
