Individual Giving Managers Forum

The Individual Giving Managers forum is a newly developed peer to peer leadership network, focused on the management of cash and regular giver donor programmes and relationships. We will discuss and challenge each other on best practice, share our current difficulties/successes in the market – deep dive into campaign performance, donor acquisition and retention. We also aim to review the broader charitable giving landscape and look beyond the challenges we face today to the future and mitigate against the challenges we foresee, as a collective, coming down the tracks.

With governance very much to the forefront of many donors’ thoughts, this group will share ideas of how we as Individual Giving Managers can play our part to instil confidence in our donors, via best practice in donor care programmes.

We know there are many hats to be worn when you manage an IG team – marketer, accountant, copywriter, diplomat, fortune-teller to name but a few, so we will explore ways to upskill in these areas and share training needs and ideas. We will discuss what makes a well-functioning individual giving team tick, the skills to look out for when recruiting, how to motivate & upskill your team, and share operational best practice.

Everybody is welcome, whether you are new to your role or have years of experience. This forum is a safe space to exchange ideas and insights, share highs and lows, and grow your network.
