About the Role

At a time of significant change and growth, the Asthma Society has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and innovative Development and Partnerships Manager to join their team. The Society recently completed a 3-year Financial Resilience and Sustainability Strategy to achieve annual targets around income, partnerships, stewardship and prospecting. The new Development and Partnerships Manager will lead and deliver on this plan and will assume responsibility for achieving the Asthma Society's annual fundraising goals. They will maximise annual income from all private and corporate sources, including corporate partnerships, corporate sponsorships, Trusts and Foundations, memberships retention and recruitment, Individual Philanthropy and the delivery of an authentic flagship event (Take A Breath). They will manage and develop a dynamic fundraising team that will work together towards the organisational goal of ending asthma deaths in Ireland by 2030.

To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior donor engagement, or senior sales role with experience working to and achieving on ambitious, attainable targets. Your experience will be a natural fit for the management of good relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent financial and reporting skills and be an enthusiastic and committed team member. You will be knowledgeable of the donor landscape nationally and internationally with evidential experience of developing networks to generate fundraising income.
