Job Title: Individual Giving Administrator

Department: Fundraising

Reporting To: Individual Giving Manager

Type: Permanent Full Time

Barretstown is currently recruiting for an Individual Giving Administrator. The Administrator will support the delivery of our individual giving programme to deliver significant growth in income from individuals. The ideal candidate would have strong administrative experience and come from a charities background or be interested in the sector.

Main Responsibilities:

Donor Stewardship & Communication

1. Support the development and implementation of stewardship plans for individual donors

2. Be the first point of contact for our donors and supporters, providing the best experience possible while managing, maintaining, and building relationships with supporters to achieve best results for retention.

3. Working with the Individual Giving Manager, support the development of donor communications and materials including welcome packs, production of letters and assist with our telemarketing activities to thank donors and develop key relationships.

4. Provide support in the implementation of the organisation's annual legacy programme

5. Follow up with supporters on missed & cancelled regular donations Administration & Data

6. Support the Individual Giving Manager in the management & delivery of Barretstown's direct recruitment programme

7. Process and acknowledge donations – one off and regular – on the CRM software, ThankQ

8. Respond in a timely manner to all donor related queries

9. Provide administrative support for the Tax Back campaign and coordination of our online tax form platform

10. Follow requirements of GDPR in all aspects of the role and input and maintain accurate data on CRM

11. Provide administrative support across the wider fundraising team when required

12. Respond in a timely manner to all donor related queries

13. Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Individual Giving Manager and Director of Development.

Requirements / Experience:

Essential

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an office environment • Strong people skills • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative • Strong written and verbal skills • A passion for the mission of Barretstown and a desire to Press Play on childhood for seriously ill children

Desired

• Database Administration experience • Fundraising Experience, particularly in Individual Giving
