Trinity Development & Alumni (TDA) leads on alumni engagement and fundraising for Trinity College Dublin, Ireland's highest ranked university. We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious communications professional to support the delivery of key communications for the university's philanthropic goals and global alumni engagement programmes. 

As the Communications Officer you will support Trinity's engagement and communications with its alumni, donors and supporters worldwide through the design and management of a range of publications and online platforms as part of an overall communications and marketing strategy.

Trinity has just completed a successful campaign, Inspiring Generations, achieving its goal of 150,000 volunteer hours and raising over €400m in philanthropic donations. Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities specified below are not intended to be exclusive or restrictive and flexibility in the allocation of specific duties will be required. As Communications Officer, you will be:

1.      Responsible for the project management, content generation and design management of Trinity Today, Trinity's quarterly alumni magazine circulated to 80,000 graduates worldwide.

2.      Manage TDA's engagement with creative agencies ensuring a consistent and strong approach is delivered across all communication channels.

3.      Assist colleagues in the design and delivery of online and printed publications.

4.      Contribute to online publications and online social media campaigns.

5.      Support the events team with planning and organisation as required.

6.      Undertake other duties as may be assigned from time to time by line manager.
