Job Purpose: This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is keen to develop their fundraising career with one of Ireland's leading charitable organisations. Concern Worldwide is Ireland's largest aid and humanitarian agency, operating in 23 countries globally, with its headquarters in Dublin. Our new organizational strategy sets out our ambition to achieve the greatest possible impact for those left furthest behind; mobilising our global network to respond to rising poverty, hunger and humanitarian needs while facilitating community empowerment at the furthest frontiers of an increasingly fragile world.

The Major Donor Manager will play a key role in nourishing and growing our support from major supporters, in line with our values and mission, to help Concern achieve its strategic objectives. Our major donors include private individuals and foundations based in the Republic of Ireland, each of whom are deeply committed to developing a fairer and more just world. In carrying out this role, the jobholder will have the opportunity to develop connections with new donors, as well as deepen relationships with existing ones, through well-targeted and innovative approaches. The post-holder will develop and implement relationship plans tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of each donor and, as such, will have the opportunity to engage with supporters in a meaningful way around global development and humanitarian issues. The successful applicant will be part of a highly motivated Corporate and Major Donor (CMD) fundraising team and will work with a range of stakeholders across the Concern organization.

Job location: Dublin hybrid working (2 days office, 3 days remote). Occasional overseas travel to Concern's programmes may be a feature of this role.
