Background Information:
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) was founded in 2004. Since then, it has supported over 500 social entrepreneurs in tackling social problems across the island of Ireland. SEI's north star is accelerated social change through the power of people. They do that in two ways: firstly, they seek out people with unique insight and scalable ideas to social problems; secondly, they offer them a deeper level of support to grow their impact through the vibrant SEI community of changemakers. SEI believes in the potential of people to create change together, in the power of human first relationships, and in the force of community to accelerate impact.
The Role:
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland are seeking a Community Manager to find and meaningfully engage SEI's community of 'Change Makers'.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of their own key changemaker relationships. You will play a key role in identifying and reporting on SEIs Changemaker needs, supporting them to enhance their experience in the SEI community and develop an understanding of community growth opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you will be:
· An excellent relationship builder and manager
· A creative problem solver
· A skilled communicator and facilitator
· Someone who can work independently and figure things out, but who knows the value of collaboration across an organisation.
This role would be ideal for a candidate with experience in building and maintaining relationships, who is a problem solver and has the capacity to join the dots between people's needs and SEIs opportunities.
