Pieta provides a range of counselling services for people who are suicidal, engage in self-harm or who are bereaved by suicide. Pieta also operates a national 24-hour helpline (1800 247 247) and a dedicated Education and Training office. We are currently recruiting qualified and accredited Child & Adolescent Psychotherapists for the following centres:
Leinster: Athlone, Wexford, Swords, Collins Ave, Lucan, Tallaght, Ballyfermot
Munster: Limerick, Waterford, Cork
Ulster: Cavan & Monaghan
Connacht: Tuam & Galway,
Permanent flexible contracts available:
·10 hours per week over 2 days
·15 hours per week over 3 days
·20 hours per week over 4 days
·25 hours per week over 5 days
*Shifts are 5 consecutive hours with max 4 clients per day. One hour is allocated for related administrative duties. Hours will be fixed and negotiated with Lead Therapist at the time of hire. Evening/Saturday morning work maybe required depending on the centre's service needs and its opening hours.
Salary: €30.45 per hour
Reporting directly to the Lead Therapist the role of the Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist is to provide professional and compassionate therapeutic support to children & adolescents who are in suicidal or self-harm crisis, and those bereaved by suicide.
