Enable Ireland

Enable Ireland provides services to children and adults with disabilities and their families from 40 locations in 14 counties on behalf of the Health Service Executive. Covering childhood to adulthood Enable Ireland’s expert teams work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage.

Enable Ireland Cork has been based at the Lavanagh Centre in Ballintemple for more than 60 years and currently provides services to over 500 children across Cork City and County. Enable Ireland plans to build a new Lavanagh Centre to replace the Ballintemple facility at a new 7 acre site at Curraheen. As this is a capital project serving the people of Cork, Enable Ireland envisages that the funds will be raised primarily by a capital campaign focused on the people and business of Cork and its diaspora. To fulfil this ambition Enable Ireland wishes to appoint a Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager based in Cork.

Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for the capital campaign to secure philanthropic support to contribute to the €7.5m cost of building the new Lavanagh Centre in Cork. He/she will be responsible for directly liaising with donors across a range of disciplines and developing the existing pipeline of donors which includes major donors and corporates. This role is a contract of specified duration arising due to maternity leave.

Enable Ireland is seeking a determined individual with extensive experience in major gift fundraising or high end business development. The successful candidate will be results orientated with a drive for exceeding targets and have a demonstrable understanding of the not-for-profit sector, looking to make a significant difference to the lives of Enable Ireland’s service users.

If you are a driven individual looking to make a contribution to the lives of Enable Ireland’s service users contact Dennis O’Connor in strictest confidence at dennis@2into3.com or call direct on +353-1-234-3184.

Closing date for applications is the 14th April 2017.
